Saw your comment on Cowbell regarding frozen shoulder. A cursed, horrid condition, but there are worse things that can happen. You'll find my own journal on this subject at http://acapsulitis.blogspot.com/
I haven't updated it for a few weeks, but I'm now into the Frozen stage, or maybe just the Thawing stage and inch by inch gaining small amounts of movement.
I am going to post again describing various exercises you can do. This is perhaps the most important advice I can give you. Good luck.
